HOW TO CARE FOR THE FACE

THE FACE

The skin on the face requires more care than the skin on any other part of the body, because most of the time it is uncovered. In addition, there are large number of sweat and oil-producing glands concentrated on facial skin.
The human face evokes a special interest in oneself and in others. A newborn, despite his visual limitations, already shows a special interest for his mother's face. It is known that there is a specific area of the brain charged with analyzing and recognizing faces. When that part of the brain is altered, familiar faces are not recognized. This disorder is known as prosopagnosia.
Without a doubt, what stands out the most about the human face is its ability to express emotions and mood: Happiness and sadness; serenity and fear; peace and strife; pleasure and pain, and so many other emotions are expressed better through facial muscles than with speech. In addition, these facial expressions are universal, and it has been shown they can be picked up by people from any culture, tongue or age.
Facial expression is truly a universally valid language, a system of non-verbal communication that brings all humans together; and one more piece of evidence of the singular origin of the human species.
However, in addition to emotions, the face is the most obvious expression of the condition of a person's physical and mental health. Many diseases and conditions are reflected in the face.
Muscles of the Face Head and Neck
They make up a functional unit, thanks to which the face acquires the ability of expression.

CARING FOR THE FACE

Due to the importance of the face and the exposure it faces, so many measures must be taken to ensure a smooth face. Here are some precautionary steps to have an attractive face;

CLEANSING

Cleansing of the facial skin is the first step before applying any cream or treatment. Because the face is always left uncovered and in constant contact with the environment, it can build up foreign substances that should be eliminated with good cleansing.
In addition, cleansing the face should eliminate the skin's own secretions, such as sweat and sebaceous secretions, as well as any traces of make-up.

Recommended Products

  • A cleansing milk or special soap for oily skin, if skin is oily
  • Facial toner or lotion.

HYDRATION
With exposure to sun and air, skin cells on the face quickly lose their water content. With age, the skin starts to fold/ wrinkle due to loss of water and dries out. The use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs, and a diet low in natural products, promotes water loss in skin cells.

Recommended Products

  • Hydrating creams, such as one made with cucumber juice
  • Place slices of cucumber directly onto the skin. Cucumber hydrates the skin and reduces wrinkles better than most creams.
